Gstaad Menuhin Festival & Academy is thrilled with its new collaboration with the Alberto Lysy International Violin Competition, as it commemorates one of the most brilliant disciples of its founding father Yehudi Menuhin, who was present at the Saanen Church from the very first editions of the event. It is reflected in the invitation to a “Jeune Etoile” recital by the winner of its second edition, who was also awarded the Audience Award offered by the competition. Originally from Ukraine, Bohdan Luts is currently studying with Oleg Kaskiv at the International Menuhin Music Academy (IMMA) in Rolle.
